An audio journey back in time
Rimini Protokoll have commisioned Gob Squad (and other artists) to make a 5 minute audio track, part of an ‘album’ of audio works, played to audiences seated in a glass-sided truck which travels through the Ruhr region. Our piece, developed with sound artist Jeff McGrory, is designed for Husemannplatz in Bochum, from where tens of thousands of protesting miners once marched to Bonn, now the site of Claire’s Accessories and a cafe with a timeless name: Cafe Zeitlos…
